ELECTRIC TRANSPORTERS

Load capacity from 1 ton to 600 tons working in single or in compound mode (with or more vehicles electrically synchronized).

Our electric carts can move with different steering systems (steering on an axle, two axes, 360º, 90º, crab, etc …).

These vehicles are operated with remote control (wireless or wire connected according to customer needs) and also  from a cabin. They all include AC traction electric motors.

Electric transporters can adapt to different types of wheels depending on the floor condition at customer’s site, for which DTA advises and suggests the type of material to be used  (polyurethane, vulkollan, solid, super elastic or pneumatic).

The vehicles count with system security, including LED flashing lights and sound acoustic devices in compliance with 2006/42/CE Directive on Machinery and Amending, as well as ECM 2004/18/EC Directive on electromagnetic/interference compatibility and 1999/5/CE Directive.

As optional, we can include different lifting systems (through cylindric bars, cylinders or is the own vehicle that lifts up the load) to take placed on pallets or steel structures.

HYBRID TRANSPORTERS

DTA supplied the first hybrid transporter of the world of 20 and 50 tons to move molds cast and spool in plant. The vehicle contemplated an electric traction system to operate indoors and a diesel one for long distances, also including a cabin intended to the comfort of the operator. These cabins were equipped with seats for two operators, a display to show information of working hours, battery level and also any possible failure in the vehicle.  

One of the advantages of this hybrid system (besides of no-contaminating when using it), is that the electric battery can be charged while the transporter is operating with diesel.

RAIL CARS

Load capacity from 1 up to 700 tons.

On rail carts are perfect to use in indoors or outdoors  in factory sheds.

This kind of vehicles are powered up through batteries, could be electric-wire connected or diesel self-propelled.

This on rails solution permits to transfer loads in longitudinal and transversal using hydraulic cylinders and they adapt to any type of current rails and also to new ones as per client’s requests. The carts include a set of resistant wheels of high quality for nodular cast iron.

The vehicles count with system security, including LED flashing lights and sound acoustic devices in compliance with 2006/42/CE Directive on Machinery and Amending, as well as ECM 2004/18/EC Directive on electromagnetic/interference compatibility and 1999/5/CE Directive.

All these vehicles could operate in work painting rooms or ATEX explosion hazard areas.

DIESEL TRANSPORTERS

DTA transporters can also be designed with diesel propulsion, mainly for handling heavy loads up to 800 tons and long distances.

Diesel transporters are mainly used for outdoors and usually includes omnidirectional steering for tight turning radius.

They can either include cabin for long distances or driven with remote control for short distances.

This transporters are designed and manufactured according to clients requirement and are mainly used in shipyards, windmill and off shore plants, steelmills, foundries, etc.
