DTA suggests to all clients the steering mode that suits better to their requirements.
The steering modes are as follows:

One steering axle and one fix.

Steering on both axles.

Crab steering.

Carousel steering (360º).

Multidirectional 90º axles.

Multidirectional steering mode based on maximum accuracy Mecanum wheels.

Steering type nº2 includes steering type nº1.
Steering type nº6 includes steering types nº 5, nº4, nº3, nº2 and nº1.
SAFETY SYSTEMS
DTA includes all safety devices in every transport solution in compliance with 2006/42/CE Directive of Machinery.
Emergency stops, working lights and safety sound devices.
In compliance with 2006/42/CE Directive on Machinery and Amending, DTA’s vehicles include emergency stops on each corner of the vehicle, as well as on the remote-controller.
The vehicles also include working lights as well as security sound devices in compliance with the normative.

PLS Proximity Laser Scanner
PLS is a programed optical sensor that traces different areas around the vehicle establishing two security zones depending on closeness to the vehicle.
If the vehicle comes across an obstacle on its range it slows down, and if the distance between the vehicle and the obstacle reduces below a certain security distance, the vehicle stops immediately.
Security Bumper
Security bumpers are devices that protect the operatives from possible bumps with moving vehicles or vehicle parts.
Its soft rubber core provides the vehicle a larger braking distance. With a minimum pressure on the bumper, the sensors circuit closes, and the controller immediately stops the vehicle, preventing the accident.
Dead man switch
The Dead man switch is a safety device for handling loads with extreme caution, having two workers supervising the transportation of the load.
One of the workers drives the vehicle using the remote control, and the other observes the process in order to avoid any harm to either the vehicle or the load.
The orders that are given by the driver are only executed if the observer holds the switch. Thus the observer can prevent any harm by letting go the switch.
